Couple's love story defies the odds - WTHR

When we lst moved to Indiana my best friend Karen had a littl 2 yr.k old sister that had just been dianosed with CP and MR. They put her in a program and they said they could train but not educate her. After one year they said she could be educated. My friend and her mother have pased away. I was amazed when I heard Mary had gotten married. This story was so nice to see,just often wondered how she was doing.

DRESS UP
Cheyenne in her new princess dress she got for Christmas. I remember When I was little and played dress up. So much fun you could pretend you were someone else. I didn't get my dress up clothes from the store. I got old clothes of my mom. Things she didn't wear anymore.

These last 2 are back to 55. I really didn't notice this till I downloaded. That would mean that we lived there over a year in South Carolina. I do remember a time that happened there, I had 2 bottles of soda or something ( I can't remember what it was) They were my pom poms and I played till one of them exploded. It really scared me. I don't shake bottles anymore.

Jessie was born 9 years ago this month, I think that he has started to show his age in looks, but he is so active and has never slowed down. I got Jesse at 4 weeks old his mom was really not able to take care of him, so at his lst bite of food he was my dog. From my experience with Jesse, they need to stay with their mama longer than 4 weeks, until social skills are learned , he sorta lacks that. My Aunt Irene always called him the little nuisance.
For him I think that he is grateful for mom (me) who was willing to take this little 1/2 breed puppy a product of rape. He had a rough start, got into the trash (delicious),and I almost lost him. Then at 3 years old, became paralyzed from the chest down, and had to have back surgery.
Today Jesse is a really good dog he protects the house from strangers, deer, squirrels even the mailman. He loves his balls, and squeaky toys. He doesn't chase cars and I am so thankful for that. Happy B-Day Jesse

Nevaeh, is so cute in these 2 pics, I got to learn how to do the black and color thing. Lori thanks for the new pics, you are a great grandma. I don't mean it the way that sounds. This is Lori's grand daughter. She is just a really good grandma.

NOVEMBER THE 1ST I took this picture, my next door neighbors had this balloon land and this picture isn't the best one I took, but I planned on it being the best. I walked thur weeds as tall as me to take this pic. managed to get all the fall stickers on me. When I got thur the weeds the balloon had already started to collapse

This is me when I was 3 as a gypsy. I remember that I didn't know what a gypsy was, and never asked. The lst Halloween that I remember. My mom made me this outfit and said she was making me a gypsy for Halloween, I went along with it all, sounded like fun, but knew nothing about what was Halloween....?

My Aunt Rosemary with Uncle Jess, then uncle JB. My Uncle JB I really didn't know that well but in his older years me and my mom would stop by his little house in Washington, and visit. That's where I really feel like I met him and his personality was a lot like my dad's but he was more funny he was entertaining. My brother Jim with his ducktail is in the fount.

WHEN WE GET OLDER

I remember when I was young ..WOW in school? your old(and cool). It wasn't untill we moved to Utah, and I started school. I relized your not old till your in junior or high school. I remember in high school ,my attitude in age was changing. Later in life someone told me old is 15 years older then you are at time ,..how true. Now sometimes I feel old and sometimes not so old. I still look at the 15 yr. older thing but, it seems to be quicker.

OLD FRIENDS
Yesterday I went and got Ruthann for a planned little reunion of friends that hadn't seen each other for quite a long time. We went to Morrisville, to Brenda's house, a friend I met when we were only 22 years old. Then us 3 headed to Susan's house a friend I also met at 22. That's where we meet up with Susan and Mary Ann. Ruthann has been best friends of Mary Ann for over 40 years...What a tangled web Brenda met Mary Ann, I introduced Brenda and Susan and it goes on, you know the story before long we all knew each other.

This is Susan ,we all met at her house and then went out for dinner. Dinner (maybe it was lunch)We spent time back at her house. I had a really good time and hope to do it again soon..
This is a picture of rhubarb pie that Susan had made. I had aready ate a peice of pie before Ruthann and it was so good, looked pretty too. I tried to get a picture of her pie even though Ruthann had already taken a bite. I was trying to make it look like in a magizine picture but, I didn't I was trying to be fast cause she wanted another bite.

THE O'BRIAN REUNION










It's going to be at the park where it was last held in Washington In. when we had the last reunion. The date is Augest 1st. 2009. Yea,...a long time from now?.. no before I know it, it will be 8/1/09 and I won't be ready? but I'll be there. Just thinking of the ones that make it from out of state to be there, I think, I live right here in Indiana and I better make it.
